The Good Times are Killing Me - CTM Productions

Isthmus Playhouse

GT1 Afternoon on Edna Arkins' street. The show takes place in an urban environment. I wanted the set to act mainly as a backdrop. I combined realistic and representational features in an attempt to bring home the truth of the play while allowing the audience to accept that we can be in many places always with the feel of the city looming behind.
GT2 Evening sets in as the sun retires.
GT3 Nighttime. Throughout the play, the streetlight acts a God metaphor, hanging there watching everything that happens. It has a presence; in the night scenes I wanted it to play a bit brighter than you would normally see in real life.
