SOM1 The abbey. This is the opening number of the play. The mood is reverent and somber and then moves into a more joyous tone. In this shot, I wanted a sense of the end of the day with quite beauty and reverence. I used warm colors and strong sidelight to pick out parts of the nuns, creating shape and distance between each of them.
SOM2 A different look of the abbey. Nuns by candlelight.
SOM3 Sunlight cascades through a window in Mother Abbess's (Marianne Cornetti) office, highlighting the new recruit.
